Cari Rincker prides herself in not being like every lawyer.  She is not a child of divorce or separation; instead, she was attracted to family and matrimonial law because of her passion for helping people through challenging times in their life.  She does not believe the courtroom is the answer to all problems, especially when children are involved

 

She started the Transitions program at Rincker Law, PLLC to help families smoothly turn the page through this chapter offering an affordable choice for families navigating this life change.  She does not believe that divorce and separation should be a war, requiring thousands of dollars in attorneys’ fees. 

 

Cari is licensed to help families in Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, Kentucky and Washington D.C.  She has completed numerous mediation trainings, including specific mediation training for divorce, custody and visitation disputes and online family law mediation. 

 

Cari received her Juris Doctor from Pace University, School of Law and spent a decade of her life living in New York City.  She now resides outside of Champaign on Cari’s Farm with her goats, chickens, rabbits and golden retriever, Kennedy.  Cari continues to travel back and forth to New York City and loves exploring international destinations.
